Ever since we came to Singapore, we had heard that there was this very beautiful place to go hiking, called MacRitchie Reservoir. It took a while to get around to it, but I'm glad that we went. It was a nice hike - about 4km (I think). We had heard that you could see monkeys, monitor lizards and other wild beasts there, so we were pretty excited. It started to rain a little bit into our hike, so I think most of the animals were hiding, but we did get to see a group of monkeys from a distance. There was a suspended bridge called the "Treetop Walk" that was very fun to see. We enjoyed our hike and actually didn't even get too wet.
