Olsen's First Birthday

I can't believe this sweet boy is already one! This year has been a bit crazy, but I am so grateful for all of the moments that I get to spend with this little one. My hidden blessing in getting sick when he was born was that I got to spend the first couple months of his life just snuggling and loving my little guy. He is such a happy baby and loves watching and playing with is brothers. He is learning how to walk and even talk a little. Mostly, he just smiles and laughs and has fun. We love this kiddo and had a great time celebrating his birthday!
He got a crown that he hated, but we managed to get a couple of pictures before he ripped it off. He had fun opening his presents, but couldn't have done it without his brothers. Then we packed up and took the kids to Disneyland with some friends. For being November, it was quite warm, so the kids started the fun with playing in the water.
Since there aren't a lot of rides that one year olds can go on, we spent most of the time at the shows, so he could get out of stroller and have some fun too. He really loved the Lion King show - it was very colorful and fun.
Then, on Sunday we made some cake and invited as many friends as we could squish into our house over.
It was a little wild, but everyone seemed to have fun. We definitely missed all of our family and friends from the States, but we feel blessed to have some good friends here to spend times like these.
He didn't really want to blow out the candle, just touch it. Even though it looks like it here, we really didn't let him touch the fire.
The best part, though was that he just picked up the whole cake and dug in. He had no reservations about anything.
We love this kiddo! Happy Birthday little Otis!
