Today we thought we would have a lazy day and spend some time at the beach. So, we headed over there, but first we made a stop to buy a boat and oars. Drew and Scott had fun rowing around the ocean although they couldn't go out very far because they were technically not in a boat, but a floatation device. They still seemed to have fun and while they did that, Taylor and I hung out on the beach.
Then we went over to the water play area and let the boys play there for a while. They had their daily photo shoot and gathered quite the audience, as always. Taylor made friends with a wooden pirate and Drew and Scott had a water gun fight. Then we went to an Indian restaurant for dinner - very good -and they also had pizza for the boys, so they were happy too!
After that, we went to a water and light show called Songs of the Sea. The arm flailing acting to a soundtrack was a bit distracting, but the show was quite good. It really was a beautiful show - these pictures don't begin to do it justice. It was a story of a princess who had fallen under the spell of a sleeping village and Lee and his friends, with their "songs of the sea" set out on a journey to free her. I have to say, it perhaps was better than Fantasmic - sorry Mom. Taylor also found a friend here too - she was a lady that sat behind us. For some reason, he just climbed up in her lap before the show, then when he got scared from the fireworks and noises, he left me and went back to her, where he fell asleep.

Don't you just love the phoot shoots! Here in Japan some try to be sneaking about it while others just stand there and snap pictures with their phones. Maybe you should put a sign around their necks charging 50 cents a picture-make a little extra cash!:)
