For our co-op preschool, we did a little post-Halloween pumpkin patch field trip. A few of us got up there early and so we just let the kids play around for a while.
Then when everyone got there, Farmer Lauren joined us and we started our tour with feeding the goats. The kids seemed to love feeding them, and the goats loved being fed. Then, we went on a little hayride around the farm. They told us all about growing the pumpkins, corn, and strawberries.
Then we got to go through a corn-maze. After that, we had wagon races and picked out pumpkins to paint. Then, we painted pumpkins, ate our lunch. After lunch we got a little cup of home-made icecream and then headed home. It was a really fun morning.
