We decided today to surprise the kids with a trip to Disneyland. We didn't tell them where we were going, although we are pretty sure Drew had it figured out because he can read the train maps. He was a good sport and didn't spoil it for Taylor - and he even pretended that he was surprised when the Disney train showed up at the station. We take a couple of trains from our house to get there, but they are just regular subway trains, but this train only takes you to Disneyland, so it is decked out. The kids loved it!

When we got there the parade was just starting, so we watched for a while. Despite the look on Taylor's face, he really was loving it, but he always gets a little concerned look when there are costumed people.
Olsen was asleep when we got there, then he woke up to the sound of the parade. It was so funny, because he woke up and looked around - you could tell by the look on his face that he couldn't quite tell if he was awake or still dreaming. But, after he really woke up, he loved the parade as you can tell by his goofy grin.
We had lots of photos taken and rode a bunch of the rides - although we skipped the haunted house because it freaked the kids out that they can actually touch you here (not like in America where they have rules against that sort of thing). This Disneyland isn't huge, so we just took our time and saw what we wanted to.

We ended the night with some strawberry Mickey waffles and then headed home with some very tired boys. We had a really fun day and it was good to get away from all the crazy of trying to get settled here. Thank goodness for the Happiest Place on Earth.
