Junk Trip

 This weekend we had the opportunity to go on a Junk Trip with people from Fulbright (Scott's work).  Originally when they asked us if we would like to join them, we weren't sure what a junk trip was, but we said yes anyhow.  So, if you don't know - this is a junk:

 And, we got to go spend the day sailing around in it, eating good food, and hanging out with some fun people. 

 After sailing around for a couple of hours, we stopped at Lamma Island just off the coast of Hong Kong.  We were able to get off and swim and enjoy the beautiful area. This is also where we had lunch.

 I was feeling a little sea sick, so I went up to the top to feel the breeze and "watch" Olsen.

 Sea sickness aside, it was a very relaxing day because the kids were having so much fun.  I hardly saw Taylor all day because he made friends with a girl from Scott's office and spent the entire day with her.  Looking through our pictures I really don't have very many of him because he was gone and busy.

Olsen also got a lot of attention and snuggles.

 After lunch we sailed around for a while longer seeing the beautiful coast of Hong Kong and Kowloon, then we stopped in Repulse Bay where we did some water sports.

 Drew got to ride on the water weenie.

And, a couple of rides OFF of the water weenie as well.

Scott was in heaven because he got to spend the afternoon wake-boarding and having fun.  After they were done with that, we sailed back to Aberdeen in time to head home for dinner.  It was a great day with the family and friends - the weather was perfect and it was a nice relaxing day.
